Effective September 13, 2026. This policy covers remarketer.com, operated by Remarketer Marketplace (“Remarketer”, “we”), a buyer of used networking equipment.
When you submit the inventory form we receive your company name, contact name, work email, phone number (optional), the inventory details you type, and any file you upload. With each submission we also record the date and time, your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string and the page you submitted from.
Like most websites, our web server logs each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring
page, your browser’s user-agent string, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed (such as
utm_source or Google Ads’ gclid). We use these logs to count visits, see which pages and
campaigns bring visitors, recognise repeat visits from the same IP address, and block automated abuse.
We estimate a visitor’s country, region and city from the IP address using a copy of the DB-IP database stored on our own server. IP addresses are not sent to DB-IP or anyone else for this.
This site does not set cookies and does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts. If we add them (for example, to measure Google Ads), we will update this policy first.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our email delivery provider and, if you accept an offer, carriers or logistics providers needed to collect the equipment, and when the law requires it.
Raw web server logs are deleted after 14 days. The visit records we build from them are kept for up to 13 months. Form submissions and uploaded files are kept as long as needed to handle your inventory and keep our business records. Submissions and logs are stored outside the public website, and the site is served only over HTTPS.
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Send the request through the form on our homepage with “Privacy request” in the inventory details, or reply to any email from us asking to be removed.
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.
